Karimah Mohammed is an Economist at Justin Ram Advisory Services, dedicated to shaping policies through market analysis, data-driven insights. She currently works on the creation of technical reports and analysis while undertaking project-based consultative research in her area. Her expertise spans energy economics, development finance, climate financing, and financial economics. Her passion lies in translating complex data into actionable insights. This is evident in her development of economic forecasting models in collaboration with multiple development finance institutions and the co-development of macro-fiscal toolkits.
Prior to this, Karimah occupied a key position as a highly analytical Treasury Professional within the banking sector in Trinidad and Tobago. With her strong financial aptitude and experience in data management, she is proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and treasury operations.
Karimah graduated with her MSc Financial Economics from the University of the West Indies. Her fervour and enthusiasm for economics have enabled her to hold a part-time position at the undergraduate and graduate levels as a tutor and guest lecturer at UWI, Trinidad.
